About
Ms. Emily
Emily is a pianist, teacher, and accompanist, and has been teaching piano since 1998. She first received her Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems and previously worked as a programmer at Matson Navigation Company while teaching piano part-time.
Following her passion, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music specializing in piano and a Master's degree in Piano Performance.
Her numerous experiences include private and group lessons at The Toddler Program, Mary, Star of the Sea ELC, Maryknoll School, Iolani School, University of Hawaii at Manoa, accompanying various choirs, and collaborating with musicians and performing at different events.
Emily is the vice president of Hawaii Piano Teachers Association. She is also a church accompanist at Christ Lutheran Church in Mililani, and is active in doing volunteer work and reaching out to the community.
Ms. Jasmine
Ms. Jasmine teaches music at Mary, Star of the Sea The Early Learning Center and is the Mandarin Chinese language instructor at The Toddler Program and Iolani School. She has studied music for many years and is very experienced in teaching group lessons.
In addition to playing the piano, she was also a ballroom dancer, dances salsa, and is a certified Zumba instructor.
Ms. Elisabeth
Elisabeth is a pianist, teacher and accompanist. Ever since the age of 6, she fell in love with the piano and hasn’t stopped playing. Determined to take steps toward her love of music, she received a BA in music from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and was recognized with a merit achievement in piano performance. Throughout her life she’s accompanied for church, choirs, plays and weddings.
Elisabeth has played in band as a flutist and is a self-taught guitarist. She enjoys expressing herself through different instruments including her latest, the drums. She believes that music is a language and that everyone should be able to have the opportunity to learn and speak it.
Ms. Lin
Zixuan is currently working on getting a Bachelor’s degree in music, piano performance. She was a winner in multiple state competitions and was named one of the 2020 “top five” with the highest scores by the National Guild of Piano Teachers. In the same year, Zixuan also received her Paderewski medal for participating in the National Guild for ten consecutive years.
She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
Mr. Benny
Benny is currently enrolled at the University of Hawaii at Manoa Music Department, pursuing a Bachelors of Music degree in Piano Performance. He has been classically trained for 14 years under Sam Adams. By the age of 21, he has performed works by composers such as Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff. Studying at UH has expanded his musical horizons, allowing him to play in many different ensembles. Despite facing challenges, Benny believes that hard work can lead to success and looks to inspire others by sharing his passion through Music.
